WE ARE ANATIONALLY RECOGNIZED ARCHITECTURE & INTERIOR DESIGN FIRM FOR DENTAL FACILITIES.WE ARE LOOKING TO CONTINUE TO GROW NATIONWIDE AS WELL AS LOCALLY IN DC/MD/VA.ARMINCO PRESENTS THE OPPORTUNITY TO BE A PART OF THIS FAST GROWING FIRM AND TOWORK ON A VARIETY OF PROJECTS WITH A COLLABORATIVE TEAM APPROACH. WE FOCUS ONDENTAL, BUT ALSO SPECIALIZE IN MEDICAL AND OTHER COMMERCIAL SPACES.

THE SENIOR DESIGNER ISRESPONSIBLE FOR DEVELOPING, MANAGING, AND RECORDING TECHNICAL ASPECTS OF THEPROJECT. THEY WORK CLOSELY WITH THE PROJECT MANAGERS, MEP ENGINEERS,ARCHITECTS, DRAFTERS AND DESIGNERS ON CONCEPTUAL DESIGNS, PRESENTATIONS, DESIGNDEVELOPMENT, AND PRODUCTION. SENIOR DESIGNERS MUST BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PROJECTDELIVERABLES, MEETING OVERALL PROJECT DESIGN SCHEDULES, AS WELL AS PREPARINGAND PRESENTING DESIGN PRESENTATIONS.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Exhibitdesign and technological sophistication, and is self-starting, energetic, andcreative

· Abilityto contribute to AND lead a team through the conceptual, schematic, design

development, construction documents, specifications, constructionadministration, and FF&E

phases

· ExtensiveIBC, ADA, and FHA code/accessibility knowledge with ability to applyinformation to

detailed construction documents

· Proficientin quality control reviews

· Coordinatebetween architect, mechanical, electrical, structural, plumbing, and lighting

consultants

· Manageproject timelines, schedules, resources, and project budget

· Resolvecomplex technical/design issues and provide guidance to team and consultants

· Participatein and lead team discussions on technical and other project related issues

· Maintainclient relationships while multi-tasking/working on multiple projects

· Abilityto select material finishes

· Organizeand lead photoshoots of completed projects

· Leadand mentor younger staff

· Meetbudgetary goals set forth by the Director of Architecture & Design

· Createand present interior design concepts in response to client needs

· Determinethe client’s goals and requirements of the project

· Createa timeline for the project and estimate project material costs

· Providefloor plans as needed for Consultants or Director of Architecture & Design

· Provideany design work necessary for marketing and sales

· Interviewand meet with clients

· Explaindesigns to and meet with Project Managers when necessary

· Makesite visits prior to design and during construction as needed

· Promoteand sell design ideas to clients

· Coordinateand work with dental equipment specialists, cabinet makers, and IT companies

· Attendcompany trade shows and promote company as needed

· Workwith consultants, contractors, fabricators, specification, writers, andregulatory agencies to

meet overall project objectives

· Participatein the construction administration of projects and review of submittals andfinish

samples

· Mustpresent self in professional manner at all times

QUALIFICATIONS,KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIRED:

· Fluent in written and spoken English

· Valid work permit (USA)

· Workingknowledge of AutoCAD, Sketchup, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign,Microsoft

Excel, Microsoft Word

· Outstandinggraphic presentation skills

· B.SDegree of Interior Design or Interior Architecture required

· Minimumof 5+ years of experience required

· Strong leadership, organizational, communication andrelationship management skills

· Knowledge of County/City regulations desired

· Must be willing to travel when required

· Excellent attention to detail

PHYSICAL ABILITY:

· Ability to work on a computer for extended periods oftime to include typing and working on a

computer monitor

· Abilityto communicate orally with management, other co-workers and customers both

individually and in front of a group is imperative

· Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time

· Extended working hours and travel may be necessary

· Ability to lift 15 to 20 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
