Senior Developer - Power BI

Location: Bahria Complex 1 - Karachi

Job Overview
Seeking an experienced Power BI Developer who will work as an integral part business Intelligence team, responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and maintenance of data-driven solutions that empower informed decision-making across the organization.

You will work closely with developers and stakeholders to gather requirements, design data models, and develop reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights.

Responsibilities:
. Assist in analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical specifications.
. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data sources, data structures, warehouse and business rules.
. Participate in designing and developing data models and databases to support BI solutions.
. Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations using BI tools preferably Microsoft Power BI.
. Optimize existing Power BI reports for improved performance and usability.
. Work closely with users to gather requirements, prototype solutions, and refine deliverables.
. Integrate Power BI with various data sources, including databases, APIs, and other data repositories.
. Ensure the data accuracy, reliability, and performance of reports and dashboards.
. Collaborate with data engineers and administrators to optimize ETL workflows and ensure data quality and integrity.
. Optimize and tune SQL queries and database performance for large-scale data sets.
. Provide technical support to users regarding BI tools, reports, and data-related inquiries.
. Monitor and troubleshoot BI solutions to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
. Maintaining and upgrading BI tools, applications, and infrastructure.
. Document technical specifications, data mappings, and development processes.
. Conduct training sessions to educate users on BI tools and best practices.

Requirements:
. Degree in Computer science, Information technology, or a related field.
. 4+ years experience with BI tools and systems such as Power BI, Tableau.
. Prior experience in data-related tasks.
. Familiar with MS SQL Server BI Stack tools and technologies, such as SSRS and TSQL, Power Query, MDX, PowerBI, and DA.
. Knowledge of Power BI application security layer model.
. Proficient in doing advanced-level computations on the data set.
. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
. Power Bi certifications will be a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs250,000.00 - Rs300,000.00 per month
