Senior DevOps Engineer

About the Role:We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with deep GCP expertise and strong leadership skills. In this role, you’ll architect cloud-native infrastructure, lead automation initiatives, and guide DevOps best practices across multiple environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure on GCP.
• Lead infrastructure design reviews and solution architecture for application hosting.
• Own and evolve CI/CD strategy and IaC practices using Terraform or equivalent.
• Manage Kubernetes (GKE) deployments, autoscaling, and service mesh solutions.
• Drive DevOps culture, lead incident response processes, and manage system reliability.
• Mentor junior/mid-level engineers and support skill development across the team.
• Align infrastructure practices with security, compliance, and cost control policies.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of DevOps or SRE experience, with at least 3 years focused on GCP.
• Expertise in designing infrastructure using GCP services (GKE, VPC, IAM, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub).
• Advanced IaC experience with Terraform (required), Pulumi or equivalents.
• Strong scripting/automation (Python, Bash, Go).
• Solid grasp of CI/CD tooling (Cloud Build, Jenkins, ArgoCD) and Kubernetes internals.
• Proven experience designing cloud solutions for performance, scalability, and security.
• Leadership and mentoring experience in a technical capacity.

Nice to Have:-

• Exposure to AWS and/or Azure environments.
• Experience deploying and optimizing Drupal-based CMS applications in cloud environments.
• GCP Professional Cloud Architect or DevOps Engineer certification.
• Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, finance) with knowledge of compliance frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001.
