This role covers a scope of Shopify website management for two countries (UAE & KSA)
Tools used: Shopify Plus, Elevar, GA4, GTM, Google Search Consol
TECH QA & performance:
- Build and maintain tech roadmap aligned with HQ roadmap and local priorities
- Run weekly QA/bug checks across key flows (PLP/PDP, cart, checkout, payment, shipping)
Lead enhancement tickets with the development agency (brief prioritization UAT- release validation)
- Monitor and improve site speed/performance (incl. Core Web Vitals)
TRACKING / PIXELS / TAGGING (ELEVAR, GA4, GTM)
- Own tagging and pixel governance via Elevar + GTM (client + server-side where applicable)
- Ensure key events/conversions are tracked correctly in GA4
- Run tracking QA after releases and ahead of key moments; troubleshoot discrepancies
SEO:
- Lead on the SEO agency management and coordination between Tech and global (scope, timelines, deliverables, performance follow-ups)
- Follow up on SEO roadmap and ensure all optimizations are done
- Conduct continuous audits
- Align closely with HQ on SEO initiatives and governance
- Monitor Search Console (indexing, coverage, errors, performance)
FEED MANAGEMENT:
- Manage feed agency to ensure feed health and compliance
- Ensure custom labels are regularly updated (novelties, best sellers, priorities)
- Create key-moment custom labels (Ramadan/Eid, Festive, launches, gifting, etc.)
WEBSITE APPS:
- Ensure optimum efficiency of websites apps
- Manage subscriptions and payments
DEVELOPMENT ROADMAP:
Lead on all websites enhancements and localizing the global development roadmap to suite our platform.
Responsible of setting and managing all website trackers
WEBSITE DIGITAL SHELF:
- Own all website content uploads on Shopify Plus (homepage, banners, landing pages, navigation) in alignment with the marketing calendar
- Ensure timely product listing and pricing upload
- Update VM/digital shelf monthly (or as needed) based on launches and key moments
- Continuously improve PLPs/PDPs (content, UX, discoverability, conversion drivers)
CHALHOUB RETAINER MANAGEMENT:
Lead on timelines of implementation
UTM testing for all new functionalities
Ticket management, websites bugs and over all website housekeeping
OPERATIONS:
- Operations (UAE & KSA)
- UAE:order fulfillment, stock and pricing execution
- KSA:coordinate stock uploads
Carryo management
- Ensure daily orders fulfillment via Carryo
- Manage all orders returns, in coordination with the WH and last mile team
STOCK MANAGEMENT
- Forecast for all products, samples, GWPs etc.
- UAE & KSA weekly replenishment
- Proactively flag OOS risks, low stock cover, blocked SKUs, and launch readiness gaps
UAE + KSA PRICING MANAGEMENT
REPORTING:
Report on website performance with Tech and SO KPI’s
Set and track monthly targets: revenue/sales, orders, sessions/traffic, CR, AOV (results, insights, actions, risks)
Build website strategy presentation(s) as required
BUDGET
- Manage budgets for development agency, SEO agency, and feed agency
- Track spend vs scope, ensure delivery quality, and flag budget risks early
