Role Overview
We are seeking a highly accomplished Senior Director, Management Consulting to provide executive-level leadership across client engagements, drive significant revenue growth, and shape the strategic direction of the consulting practice. The Senior Director serves as a trusted advisor to C-suite and board-level stakeholders and plays a critical role in building the firm’s brand, capabilities, and talent pipeline.
This role is ideal for senior consulting leaders preparing for Partner or Principal-level responsibilities while already operating with a strong commercial and strategic mandate.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Client Leadership
- Act as executive sponsor for strategic, high-impact client engagements
- Advise C-suite and board-level stakeholders on enterprise strategy, transformation, and performance improvement
- Lead the design and oversight of complex, multi-workstream engagements across geographies and functions
- Ensure delivery excellence, value realization, and long-term client satisfaction
Revenue Ownership & Business Development
- Own and grow a significant client portfolio and revenue target
- Identify, originate, and close new business opportunities across priority accounts and markets
- Lead complex proposal efforts, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations
- Build long-term, trusted client relationships that drive repeat business
Practice & Capability Leadership
- Shape the strategic direction of the consulting practice, including service offerings and go-to-market priorities
- Drive thought leadership, intellectual capital development, and market positioning
- Represent the firm externally through executive forums, conferences, and industry events
- Sponsor firm-wide initiatives focused on innovation, operational excellence, and growth
Talent & Culture Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and sponsor Directors, Managers, and high-potential consultants
- Play a key role in senior talent recruitment, succession planning, and leadership development
- Foster a high-performance, inclusive, and values-driven consulting culture
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
- 8–10 years of progressive experience in management consulting or a closely related advisory role
- Demonstrated success leading large-scale, complex consulting engagements
- Proven track record of revenue generation, account leadership, and business development
- Experience advising senior executives and influencing enterprise-level decisions
- Exceptional executive communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree
- Deep expertise in one or more industries (e.g., financial services, healthcare, technology, energy, public sector)
- Experience in a top-tier consulting firm or high-growth consulting practice
- International and multi-market engagement experience
