Senior Director Learning & Development

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

We are seeking a visionary Senior Director of Learning & Development (L&D) to lead strategic training initiatives for our IT delivery workforce. This role will design and implement learning strategies that enhance technical competencies, foster career growth, and align employee capabilities with business goals in a dynamic IT services environment.



Key Responsibilities

Upskilling & Certification Programs

  • Develop and manage certification programs in emerging technologies including AWS , Microsoft Azure , Google Cloud Platform , DevOps , and application development .
  • Collaborate with technical leads to create customized learning paths aligned with project needs and industry best practices.
  • Drive continuous upskilling and reskilling to keep pace with technological advancements.


Leadership & Career Development

  • Establish career development frameworks to support long-term growth and retention of high-potential talent.
  • Launch leadership development programs for emerging leaders in IT service delivery.
  • Facilitate coaching and mentoring opportunities to nurture individual growth.


Digital Learning & Innovation

  • Integrate platforms like LinkedIn Learning and Coursera to deliver scalable, flexible learning experiences.
  • Implement virtual labs (e.g., AWS Cloud Labs , Azure Labs ) for hands-on technical training.
  • Promote innovative learning methodologies such as microlearning , gamification , and blended learning .


Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead and mentor the L&D team, ensuring they possess the technical and instructional expertise to deliver impactful training.
  • Foster continuous professional development within the team to support specialized IT training needs.


Experience & Education:


  • Minimum 13 years in Learning & Development, with 3–5 years in a senior L&D role within the IT services or technology sector .
  • Proven track record in designing and delivering technical training programs in high-growth, tech-driven environments.
  • Experience in the Middle East , preferably KSA , is highly desirable
  • Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources , Information Technology , or a related field.
