Position Summary
Provides strategic direction to site operational leadership and the site Human Resources team, to attract, develop and retain top talent. Develop and implement engagement and retention strategies in alignment with regional and system strategies that drive business outcomes and support organizational growth.
Essential Functions

Advise and provide strategic partnership to site operational teams, clinical teams and corporate leadership to champion regional and site strategic initiatives aligned with overall business strategy.

Direct and develop site(s) retention strategy that drives team member engagement in partnership with site(s) leadership.

Manage site(s) talent pipeline and facilitate succession planning to effectively engage top talent and promote growth.

Oversee site(s) performance management to drive individual and site performance, impacting region and system success.

Facilitate and implement comprehensive talent development and training programs to enhance employee skills, foster career growth, increase leader effectiveness and support organizational goals in partnership with the Talent Development team.

Monitor, analyze, and assess the effectiveness and impact of site and regional strategy initiatives.

Direct site employee relations strategy to minimize employee relations matters to mitigate organization risk, in partnership with the employee relations team.

Lead and execute full-cycle Human Resources site(s) and system initiatives in partnership with Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, Talent and Career Development, Engagement and Retention to attract, develop and retain top talent.

Develop and implement department goals and objectives that align with site and regional Human Resource goals and objectives.

Direct and establish workforce planning and development initiatives to effectively meet growth strategy.

Manage fiscal requirements of department; prepare site HR annual budget and meet financial responsibilities.

Assist in assimilation of team members resulting from mergers, acquisitions, and affiliations in alignment with people and business strategy.

Lead organizational culture, drive commitment to the Orlando Health mission, and model key behaviors, in accordance with organizational values.

Champion fair and equitable treatment of team members through consistent and appropriate interpretation, evaluation and application of Orlando Health policies and procedures.

Lead workforce communications through a variety of communications channels promoting a positive and productive work environment.

Optimize workforce strategy effectiveness through environmental trends, in collaboration with system leadership to address as appropriate.

Influence and lead change management to successfully ensure positive outcomes.

Develop and implement strategic recognition programs to celebrate employee achievements, enhance engagement, and promote a positive organizational culture.

Attract, onboard, develop, assess and engage Human Resources talent. Set expectations, provide resources and ensure the needs of the team are met.

Serve as the executive champion for initiatives that impact the engagement of team members and ensures a Best Place to Work culture.
Education/Training
-
Bachelor’s degree required.

Master’s degree preferred.
Licensure/Certification
-
PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
Experience
-
Ten (10) years of progressive Human Resources experience.

Five (5) years progressive leadership experience.
-
Healthcare or service industry experience preferred.
-
The successful candidate will be a seasoned Human Resources generalist with significant exposure to a variety of human resources areas including, but not limited to, employee relations, organization development, talent acquisition, engagement, compensation, benefits, communications, planning and finance.
