Job Summary
The Sr. Director, Marketing for the Wrangler Brand requires the ability to create and manage breakthrough marketing strategies and initiatives, that deliver step-change in growth, while meeting annual revenue and profitability goals through increasing brand equity. The role will support the brand vision, strategy, marketing asset management, NAM media agency relationship, execution, brand health, consumer engagement across channels, and marketing talent development.
Responsibilities
  • Execute on the brand vision, strategy, brand book, trade assets, consumer marketing assets supporting desired brand experience with a focus on NAM.
  • Own budget management and allocation, MROI effectiveness and efficiency, investment management, media spending optimization
  • Build multi-dimensional, integrated demand creation efforts that integrate transactional and experiential, social and paid and earned marketing tools to deliver on revenue and profit goals
  • Unify brand and product demand creation: Must balance need for seasonal product marketing that drives sell-thru and ongoing efforts to build brand love
  • Support Brand global 360 toolkits that deliver step-change growth in the regions
  • Drive Go To Market marketing calendar and integrated marketing plan with a heavy lean to digital investment and growth.
  • Responsible for Marketing resourcing and talent management ensuring talent arena is maximized by supporting employee professional growth and continuously reviews and succession plans to avoid gaps in key positions
Leadership
  • Demonstrated history of bringing in more and more consumers while out-smarting competition by creating marketing programs with breakthrough impact and persuasiveness
  • Demonstrated Change Agent, someone who combines analytical & creative horsepower to cut to the core of issues and develop creative solutions. Shows expertise thorough knowledge of quantitative and qualitative consumer research, agency research to support decisions and to align others. Proven leader, coach and mentor who can drive change and innovation
  • Operate with high EQ. Someone who’s engaged, empathetic, coach & hands-on team player. Naturally connects / builds relationships. Exceptionally astute in picking up and responding to unexpected situations and staying on top of matters without being shaken.
  • Markets at the speed of culture: breaks through the clutter by driving brand heat across all medium from digital to print to stores. Comes up with new ways to collaborate and seed brands. Lives in and knows how to impact the digital world.
Requirements
  • 8-10 years’ experience, apparel or fashion experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required in Marketing, Management or Communications; MBA preferred.
  • Sensitivity and awareness of social and cultural differences to build diverse and inclusive teams. Experience in Mexico, EMEA and China are a bonus.
  • Frequency of travel 20%- key accounts, production, market visits, events
  • Ability to balance thinking strategically while still rolling up your sleeves and executing
