Senior Document Controller

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and professional Senior Documentation Controller to manage and oversee all logistics documentation activities. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience in pricing, quotations, customs documentation, and coordination with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and authorities. This role requires deep knowledge of import & export procedures and the ability to work independently with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and manage all logistics documentation for air, sea, and land shipments
• Handle pricing and quotation preparation in coordination with sales and operations teams
• Manage Bills of Entry (BOE), Delivery Orders (DO), and Manifest DO
• Prepare and submit customs documentation in compliance with UAE regulations
• Handle NOC, manifest approvals, and related customs clearances
• Coordinate MOFA documentation and attestations when required
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of documents to avoid delays or penalties
• Liaise with customs, shipping lines, airlines, free zone authorities, and clearing agents
• Maintain proper records, filing systems, and documentation control
• Support management with documentation reports and compliance updates

Requirements & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Documentation Controller in a logistics or freight forwarding company
• Strong knowledge of pricing, quotations, BOE, DO, manifest, customs procedures, and MOFA
• Experience handling import & export documentation for UAE market
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Professional communication and coordination skills
• Familiarity with UAE customs systems and portals is an advantage

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Jebel Ali Port / Free Zones
• Knowledge of air, sea, and land freight documentation
• Ability to support sales and operations teams effectively
• Strong organizational and time management skills
