Job description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Sr. Document Controller with a minimum of 7 years of experience in the fit-out, contracting, and trading sectors. The ideal candidate must be proficient in Aconex document management system and capable of handling the documentation needs of complex construction and interior fit-out projects. Immediate availability is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and control project documentation in compliance with company policies and project requirements.
- Use Aconex for uploading, distributing, tracking, and archiving all project-related documents.
- Maintain up-to-date document registers and ensure traceability and version control.
- Receive, log, distribute, and archive incoming and outgoing documentation.
- Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure timely submission and review of documents.
- Implement and enforce document control procedures and policies.
- Prepare document status reports and ensure proper filing and security of sensitive data.
- Assist in audits and quality compliance checks.
- Maintain confidentiality and data integrity across all project documentation.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of document control experience in fit-out, contracting, or trading environments.
- Strong command of Aconex DMS (Document Management System) is mandatory.
- Experience handling high-volume, fast-paced project environments.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize deadlines effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Able to join immediately.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
- Previous work experience in the Gulf region, preferably within KSA. or who willing to move in KSA
- Knowledge of ISO document control procedures.
