Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DPS Engineer to join our team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Dell EMC Data Protection Suite (DPS) technologies, including CRS, NetWorker, PPDM, vProtect, Avamar, and Data Domain. This role requires deep technical expertise in backup and recovery solutions, replication strategies, and operational workflows across diverse environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage DPS solutions including CRS, NetWorker, PPDM, Avamar, and Data Domain.

Ensure smooth day-to-day operations and troubleshoot complex backup and recovery issues.

Perform backup and restore operations for multiple platforms

(AIX, SQL, DB, VMware, Exchange, NAS, Kubernetes, Nutanix).

Manage replication strategies and DD MTree configurations.

Develop and maintain detailed Runbooks for operational excellence.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data protection compliance and best practices.

Required Technical Skills

CRS:

Strong understanding of CRS design and operations.

Expertise in Data Domain replication.

Full knowledge of recovery modes: Sandbox Recovery, Recovery Sandbox, Alternative Recovery.

NetWorker:

In-depth knowledge of architecture, design, and workflows.

Backup/restore expertise for AlX, SQL, DB, VMware, Exchange.

Cloning operations and DD MTree replication.

PPDM:

Strong understanding of PPDM design and operations.

Backup/restore workflows for SQL, VMware, NAS, Kubernetes,Filesystem.
