Angiocchi Consulting is excited to partner with Naturepedic in the search for a Contract Senior DTC Content Writer to produce high‑impact digital content across web, blog, email, and paid channels. You’ll play a key role in the Magento → Shopify migration, updating product pages, educational content, and conversion paths while supporting ongoing digital content needs. This role reports to the Senior Director of Content & Communications and collaborates closely with the Senior Content Specialist.

Location: Remote. Preference for candidates based in states where Naturepedic has business nexus (CA, NY, IL, CT, MD, OR, AZ, MA, FL, TN, WA, GA, OH) due to the potential to convert this role to full-time. Eastern Time (ET) or Central Time (CT) availability strongly preferred.

Compensation: $65–$85/hour (contract, depending on experience). If converted to full-time, this role would align with our Senior DTC Copywriter compensation range.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Naturepedic is seeking an experienced Senior DTC Content Writer (Contract) to drive high-impact digital content across web, blog, email and paid channels. This role blends strong editorial instinct, SEO-informed storytelling and conversion-focused copywriting, and plays a meaningful role in shaping how customers discover, understand and trust Naturepedic across the digital customer journey.

A key focus of this role centers on website content work tied to a Magento → Shopify migration, including product detail pages, educational content and conversion pathways. You’ll also contribute to ongoing digital content initiatives across core channels, ensuring every asset is clear, on-brand, search-friendly and optimized for action. The position reports to the Senior Director of Content & Communications and works closely with the Senior Content Specialist, who serves as your day-to-day editor.

Note: This contract role addresses near-term web and digital content priorities, with the opportunity for expanded scope and full-time conversion based on business needs and mutual fit.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Website & Core Digital Content

  • Support website content updates across PDPs, PLPs, comparison modules, landing pages, educational content and brand storytelling.
  • Translate complex product concepts (organic materials, sustainability, certifications, construction, health-related differentiators) into engaging, easy-to-understand copy.
  • Collaborate with UX, SEO and web teams to ensure content aligns with page intent, site structure and conversion goals.
  • Support content needs for navigation, microcopy, CTAs, FAQs, tooltips and in-page education.

Cross-Channel Writing Support

  • Contribute to blog content, including SEO-informed educational articles and supporting storytelling.
  • Support email and SMS copy needs, including evergreen flows, promotional campaigns and product storytelling.
  • Write and adapt copy for paid social and paid search ads, including headlines, descriptions and creative variants.
  • Help repurpose core messaging across channels to ensure consistency, clarity and efficiency.

SEO & Performance

  • Write with SEO best practices in mind, including keyword integration, semantic structure, SERP-friendly formatting and clear hierarchy.
  • Partner with SEO and CRO teams to refine copy based on search insights, performance data and page intent.
  • Develop content that supports both human readability and emerging AI/LLM discoverability.

Brand Voice & Editorial Excellence

  • Write within Naturepedic’s established brand voice: elevated, trustworthy, wellness-forward and conversion-friendly.
  • Adapt tone appropriately based on channel, format and stage in the customer journey (educational, functional, luxury, promotional).
  • Apply brand guidelines and compliant language related to materials, certifications and sustainability claims.

Collaboration & Workflow

  • Report to the Senior Director of Content & Communications, working closely on priorities, timelines and content direction.
  • Work in close partnership with the Senior Content Specialist, who owns brand voice and editorial standards.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with brand, UX/UI, SEO and performance teams to ensure accuracy and alignment.
  • Leverage AI tools responsibly to improve efficiency in ideation, drafting, repurposing and testing – while maintaining high editorial standards.
  • Deliver organized drafts, revisions and final files on tight, fast-moving timelines.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing or a related field. preferred
  • 5–8+ years of professional digital writing experience, ideally for DTC or e-commerce brands. required
  • Demonstrated experience writing across multiple formats, including website content, blog articles, email, paid media and landing pages. required
  • Strong understanding of UX writing principles and how copy supports page structure, components and user journeys. required
  • Ability to quickly learn and write within established brand voice, tone and regulatory requirements. required
  • Strong foundation in writing for both humans and search engines. required
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, collaborative environments with multiple stakeholders. required
  • Experience in wellness, home, sustainability or consumer goods preferred

PORTFOLIO MUST DEMONSTRATE

  • Clear, well-structured, consumer-friendly digital writing.
  • Ability to flex tone across channels while staying on-brand.
  • Strong command of headlines, microcopy, product storytelling and technical simplification.
  • Understanding of how messaging supports trust, usability and conversion.
