Role Overview
We’re looking for a Senior E-Commerce Marketplace Manager to own and scale our marketplace presence across Amazon, TikTok Shop, and emerging platforms.
This role sits at the intersection of growth, operations, and brand strategy. You’ll be responsible for driving revenue, optimizing listings, managing advertising, and building repeatable marketplace playbooks that can be deployed across our growing portfolio of brands.
The ideal candidate has deep, hands-on experience operating seller accounts on Amazon Seller Central and TikTok Shop, with a track record of scaling product catalogs from launch through profitability. You thrive in fast-paced environments, think in systems, and care as much about margins as you do about top-line growth.
Core Responsibilities:
Marketplace Strategy & Execution
- Own the end-to-end marketplace strategy for Amazon, TikTok Shop, and additional channels as the portfolio expands
- Develop the marketplace roadmap for each brand, identifying which platforms to prioritize and sequencing launches for maximum impact
- Launch new brands and SKUs on marketplaces, developing standardized playbooks, and hitting revenue targets within 90 days of launch
- Manage product listings, A+ Content, Brand Store design, and SEO-optimized copy across all marketplace accounts
- Monitor and enforce pricing, MAP compliance, and unauthorized seller activity
Advertising & Performance Marketing
- Plan, execute, and optimize Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display campaigns on Amazon
- Manage TikTok Shop ads, creator affiliate programs, and live shopping initiatives
- Set and manage advertising budgets, maintaining target ACoS/ROAS by brand and SKU
- Report on advertising performance weekly and provide actionable recommendations
Analytics & Reporting
- Track marketplace KPIs: revenue, conversion rate, sessions, Buy Box %, ACoS, TACoS, organic rank, and reviews
- Build and maintain dashboards for marketplace performance across all brands
- Conduct competitive analysis, pricing research, and category trend monitoring
- Deliver monthly marketplace P&L reporting with margin analysis
Operations & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with inventory and fulfillment teams on FBA/FBM logistics, restock planning, and shipment creation
- Work with the creative team on product photography, video content, and marketplace-specific assets
- Partner with brand leads to align marketplace tactics with brand-level goals and launch timelines
- Collaborate with the growth team on integrated channel strategies and budget allocation
Process & Playbook Development
- Develop repeatable marketplace launch playbooks that can scale across new brands
- Standardize SKU intake processes with margin thresholds, compliance checks, and 30/60/90-day performance reviews
- Establish kill criteria for underperforming SKUs and channels
- Stay current on marketplace policy changes, algorithm updates, and emerging platform opportunities
Qualifications
Required
- 5+ years of hands-on experience managing e-commerce operations on Amazon (Seller Central required)
- 2+ years of experience with TikTok Shop, including storefront management, creator affiliates, and TikTok Shop ads
- Proven track record of owning marketplace strategy and execution end-to-end, ideally across multiple brands or product lines
- Demonstrated ability to scale marketplace revenue from early-stage to $1M+ annually
- Deep expertise in Amazon PPC (Sponsored Products, Brands, Display) with demonstrated ability to optimize ACoS/TACoS
- Strong analytical skills with experience using tools like Helium 10, Jungle Scout, DataDive, or similar
- Experience with FBA logistics, inventory planning, and shipment workflows
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple brands and SKU catalogs simultaneously
- Strong written communication skills for listing copy, A+ Content, and internal reporting
Nice to Have
- Experience in CPG, supplements, wellness, or alternative lifestyle categories
- Experience building marketplace launch playbooks or SOPs used across multiple brands
- Working knowledge of Shopify and its integration with marketplace channels
- Exposure to TikTok live shopping, influencer seeding, and social commerce strategies
- Comfort working in a startup or scaling environment with lean resources
Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
