We have already established a permanent Operations Office in Istanbul with more than 250 employees. From this hub, we manage engineering activities not only for projects within Turkey but also for international projects in close collaboration with our headquarters in Madrid, Spain.

In just the first six months of operations, our Istanbul office has contributed to more than 40 projects and proposals in 20 different countries, a strong sign of our workload stability and global impact.

Main Responsibilities / Duties :

• Execute assigned work in accordance with applicable contract procedures, codes and standards
• Manages the design and specification aspects of electrical engineering projects, ensuring efficient and accurate execution.
• Proficient in the use of critical project management and engineering software tools, enhancing project deliverables and documentation.
• Proficient in major software tools which are essential for equipment and materials management.
• Ensures that all project specifications, standards, and procedures are followed, maintaining high-quality output.
• Understand, review and comment on process design data to ensure appropriate equipment specification and selection
• Develop electrical deliverables e.g. single line diagrams, schematic & wiring diagrams, calculations, specifications and datasheets
• Prepare RFI & RFQ packages for the Electrical packages to the required clients and company procedures and standards
• Review of Vendor documentation requirements for use and integration within project
• Review Suppliers quotations and prepare technical quotation evaluation
• Assists in training and development of junior engineers, providing guidance and expertise in electrical engineering practices.
• Perform quality checks on deliverables prepared by junior engineers, ensuring adherence to project standards and procedures

Skills / Qualifications :

• Degree in Electrical Engineering with more than 10 years of experience of Electrical System Engineering and Design in Refinery / Petrochemical / Chemical / Power Plant Projects
• Knowledge of electrical power systems, international codes & standards and Industry accepted electrical engineering software
• Highly motivated, well organized, resourceful and proactive
• Possess good interpersonal skills with good written and spoken in English
• Flexible approach and able to work under pressure with a can-do attitude and a desire to succeed
• Experience of Vendor coordination meetings and supporting engineering design reviews
• Flexible attitude with proven experience of effective working in a project team environment
• Computer literate with common software packages such as Microsoft Office
