Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical Engineer with 12+ years of proven experience in high-rise building construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for leading and managing all electrical engineering activities from design review to project handover, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and local authority regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all electrical engineering activities on-site.
• Review and approve electrical design drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals.
• Coordinate with consultants, project managers, MEP teams, and subcontractors.
• Supervise installation of:
• Power distribution systems (LV/MV)
• Transformers, Generators, and MDB/SMDB panels
• Lighting and emergency lighting systems
• Fire Alarm and ELV systems
• Earthing and lightning protection systems
• Ensure compliance with international codes (IEC, BS, NFPA) and local authority regulations.
• Handle load calculations, cable sizing, voltage drop calculations, and equipment selection.
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to schedule and budget.
• Conduct technical evaluations and value engineering proposals.
• Attend technical meetings and provide engineering solutions.
• Manage subcontractors and site electrical engineers.
• Oversee testing & commissioning of electrical systems.
• Ensure quality control, safety compliance, and proper documentation.
• Prepare as-built drawings and final handover documentation.
• Support authority inspections and approvals.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 12+ years of experience in construction projects (High-rise mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of electrical design and site execution.
• Experience handling projects from design stage to final handover.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other electrical design software.
• Strong knowledge of local authority regulations (DEWA/SEWA/ADDC preferred – UAE experience is an advantage).
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in UAE high-rise residential/commercial towers.
• Experience in handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong background in testing & commissioning.
• PMP certification is an advantage.

Pay: AED11,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
