Key Responsibilities

• Act as the Client’s on-site electrical engineering and site management representative for all LV electrical systems.
  
• Provide daily site-level oversight of the General Contractor’s and subcontractors’ electrical
  
• activities from a Client perspective.
  
• Review, comment on, and follow up electrical designs, shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals related to LV systems.
  
• Ensure electrical works are executed in line with approved IFC drawings, specifications, and project schedule.
  
• Oversee and monitor execution of LV electrical systems, including but not limited to:
  
• LV switchboards and distribution boards (MDB, SMDB, DBs)
  
• Internal power distribution and cabling
  
• Lighting systems (industrial, external, emergency lighting)
  
• Small power systems
  
• Earthing and bonding systems
  
• Lightning protection systems
  
• UPS systems and battery-backed supplies
  
• Fire alarm systems (power supply and interface coordination)
  
• Identify constructability issues, interface gaps, and coordination risks with civil, mechanical, and process systems.
  
• Monitor implementation of the approved Electrical Quality Management Plan on site.
  
• Witness inspections, testing, and pre-commissioning activities for LV systems, including:
  
• Cable insulation resistance testing
  
• Continuity and earthing resistance tests
  
• Functional testing
