Senior Electrical Engineer - Maintenance

Position Overview

We are hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer (Maintenance) to ensure seamless electrical operations across our EV manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with HT/LT systems, electrical panels, substations, TPM processes, and fault diagnosis within a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Systems & Power Infrastructure

• Perform routine, preventive, and predictive maintenance of HT & LT equipment, switchgear, transformers, and electrical panels.
• Oversee electrical maintenance of machines, assembly lines, and plant utilities to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Maintain and operate plant substation and distribution panels efficiently.

Troubleshooting & Fault Management

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve electrical breakdowns promptly.
• Conduct root-cause analysis (RCA) for repetitive issues and recommend permanent corrective actions.
• Support continuous improvement to enhance machine uptime and reliability.

TPM & Maintenance Excellence

• Lead and support TPM activities including preventive maintenance, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, machine health, and PM reports.

ERP / Digital Maintenance Systems

• Use ERP to manage work orders, spare parts inventory, and maintenance documentation.
• Coordinate with Planning and Stores to ensure availability of critical spares.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure strict adherence to electrical safety standards, statutory requirements, and plant safety protocols.
• Train technicians and operators on safe handling of equipment.

Qualifications

• Diploma/BE in Electrical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in maintenance within the manufacturing sector.
• Strong technical knowledge of HT/LT systems, substations, electrical panels, and machines.
• Experience with TPM practices and ERP maintenance systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and reporting skills.
