Senior Electrical Engineer-MEP

Position: Senior Electrical Engineer
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all electrical works, including LV, ELV, power distribution, lighting, earthing, and backup systems for villas, high-rise, and commercial projects.
• Review, approve, and coordinate electrical drawings, BOQs, shop drawings, and material submittals.
• Ensure full compliance with ADDC, ADM, and Civil Defense (ADCD) regulations.
• Supervise electrical project engineers, site engineers, and technicians to ensure quality, safety, and timely execution.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, and multidisciplinary teams for seamless project delivery.
• Conduct site inspections, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
• Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and material requisitions.
• Resolve complex site and technical issues, ensuring minimal delays.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 8–12 years UAE experience in electrical MEP projects.
• Proven experience in villas and high-rise buildings is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of Abu Dhabi electrical codes, ADDC regulations, and Civil Defense (ADCD) requirements.
• Hands-on experience with LV, ELV, lighting, earthing, and distribution boards.
• Strong leadership, coordination, and reporting skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.

Certifications (Preferred):

• ADDC/DEWA approvals or equivalent
• Civil Defense Fire Safety approvals (ADCD)
• Professional Electrical Licenses or Project Management Certification (advantageous)
