Senior Electrical Engineer (Saudi Nationals Only)

Role Overview

Crystal Facilities Management (CFM) is seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical Engineer (Saudi National) to lead and supervise electrical engineering activities across critical projects in Riyadh. The role focuses on ensuring technical excellence, compliance, and high-quality delivery across all electrical systems.

Nationality Requirement

• This position is open to Saudi Nationals only
• Must hold valid registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE)

Key Responsibilities1. Engineering Supervision & Execution

• Supervise electrical works including:
• MV/LV systems
• Switchgear & panels
• UPS systems
• Standby generators
• Emergency lighting
• Earthing & lightning protection systems
• Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, and technical submissions
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Building Code, IEC, and NFPA standards
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits

2. Project & Contractor Management

• Monitor contractor performance and project progress
• Identify risks, delays, and non-compliance issues and escalate accordingly
• Verify completed work and approve/reject based on standards
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (MEP, BMS, Civil)

3. Testing, Commissioning & Handover

• Oversee testing and commissioning of electrical systems
• Validate performance and ensure operational readiness
• Ensure proper documentation and handover completion

4. Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare and submit:
• Technical reports
• Inspection reports
• Progress updates
• Maintain records for compliance, audits, and approvals

5. Compliance & Safety

• Ensure adherence to HSE policies and procedures
• Conduct risk assessments and enforce safety standards
• Ensure compliance with Civil Defense and regulatory requirements

Technical Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) – Active Registration (Mandatory)
• 7–10+ years of experience in electrical engineering supervision
• Strong knowledge of:
• Power distribution systems
• UPS & backup systems
• BMS integration
• Fire alarm systems
• Proficiency in:
• AutoCAD Electrical
• Revit MEP
• MS Office

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in government, commercial, or high-profile facilities
• NEBOSH or equivalent HSE certification
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 41001, ISO 45001
• Strong Arabic communication skills
