Senior Electrical Estimation Engineer

Responsibilities:

•Review/Analysis of the tender documents, detection of the technical clarifications/deviation and get awareness by the scope and prequalification requirements.

•Get awareness of the site conditions and job explanations by attending the specific meeting normally arranged by the client and preparing the required report.

•Seeking clarifications from the client for various types of anomalies observed in the tender documents, and clarifications asked by suppliers to client if we don’t have full reply. Accordingly Share Queries Response with Vendors and Subcontractors.

•Prepare and send RFQs and follow up with vendors / subcontractors to get their offers.

•Analyze the offers received from vendors and subcontractors and study the offers for scope compliance, inclusions and best price.

•Prepare comparison sheet for vendors/subcontractors offers to make decision for pricing and basis.

•Prepare Indirect & inhouse detailed cost breakdown to pricing strategies and assessment

•Follow up with design team, to get the required design output/BOQ/layouts through meetings and emails.

•Review tender BOQ and check the major quantities.

•Ensure that all tasks required are done utilizing CCS Candy software in proper way.

•Attend Pre-Bid meeting and Post Bid Meetings with stakeholders.

•Interface and follow up with engineering, procurement, planning, contract and legal departments to ensure integrated and compliant bid submissions.

•Interface with finance, project control and treasury for cash flow/payment schedule.

•Prepare job costing covering all required scopes as per tender document and proposing the optimized figures.

•Prepare the technical and commercial proposals based on the main and alternative proposals and complete the bid package as per client instructions.

•If our bid is lowest, prepare the required post bid clarifications and other questionnaires raised by the client. Prepare the entire documents to be handed over to the Operation Team.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Proven experience in market knowledge, subcontractors, cost estimation and materials prices.
• Solid understanding of market rates, vendor networks, and technical specifications
• Knowledge in tender software CCS Candy, and advanced Excel.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
