Senior Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer-Petrochemical/Steel fabrication

We are seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to support engineering and project delivery for industrial, oil & gas, petrochemical, and modular building projects. The role involves designing and managing Electrical, Instrumentation, and Telecom (EIT) systems for substations, operator shelters, and related infrastructure while ensuring compliance with international engineering standards.
Must be flexible to ocassionally travel to Bangalore-India for temporary assignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and engineer Electrical, Instrumentation, and Telecom (EIT) systems for industrial and EPC projects
• Perform engineering calculations including cable sizing, voltage drop, load calculations, lighting design, and short circuit analysis
• Prepare engineering deliverables including design basis documents, layouts, schematics, and installation method statements
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure EIT systems integrate seamlessly with overall project design
• Support Fire & Gas detection and suppression system design for modular and industrial facilities
• Work with procurement teams on technical evaluation and material selection
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure installations meet design specifications and safety standards
• Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and technical clarifications
• Ensure compliance with international standards such as NEC, NFPA, IEC, EN, and BS

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 8–12+ years of experience in Electrical & Instrumentation engineering
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, EPC, or Industrial projects
• Knowledge of substation systems, instrumentation, fire & gas systems, and telecom integration
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux/Relux, and MS Office
• Strong understanding of engineering calculations, codes, and safety standards

Preferred Experience

• Modular building or packaged equipment projects
• Experience working with international EPC contractors
• Exposure to design engineering and project coordination

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per month
