Senior Embedded System Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a hands on “Senior Electrical Engineer” with strong embedded systems and firmware development experience to help design, develop, test, and support next generation IoT, telecommunications, and edge computing products.

The ideal candidate will have experience designing hardware platforms, developing embedded firmware, integrating LTE/5G connectivity, and working across the entire product lifecycle from concept through manufacturing and certification.

Key Requirements

• Design and develop embedded hardware and firmware platforms
• Architect and support LTE/5G connected IoT products
• Develop firmware, drivers, and embedded applications
• Work closely with manufacturing and operations teams to support production
• Support regulatory certification efforts
• Troubleshoot field issues and provide root cause analysis
• Drive products from concept through deployment and ongoing support

Hardware Design Experience

• Schematic capture and PCB layout review
• High speed digital design
• Power supply design and battery powered systems
• Analog and digital circuit troubleshooting
• Oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, logic analyzer, and protocol analyzer experience
• EMC, EMI, ESD, and signal integrity understanding
• Experience bringing new hardware from prototype to production

IoT and Product Development Experience

• Design and development of IoT devices and connected products
• Remote device management and OTA firmware updates
• Device security and secure boot implementation
• Manufacturing test development and production support
• Root cause analysis and field failure investigations

Regulatory and Compliance Experience

• Experience supporting product certification and regulatory testing
• Familiarity with UL, Intertek (ETL), FCC, PTCRB, carrier certifications, CE, and related compliance requirements
• Experience preparing documentation and supporting certification labs

Preferred Qualifications

• Telecommunications and VoIP experience
• SIP, RTP, SBC, ATA, FXS, FXO, PRI, or telecom gateway experience
• Experience with Asterisk, OpenSIPS, FreeSWITCH, or similar telecom platforms
• Experience with embedded security, TLS certificates, VPN technologies, and secure communications
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, REST APIs, MQTT, and device telemetry
• Experience supporting manufacturing partners and contract manufacturers

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in embedded systems development
• Strong understanding of electronic circuit design and PCB development
• Experience designing and debugging multi layer circuit boards
• Experience with embedded Linux and Unix based systems
• Strong programming skills in C/C++
• Experience developing software in Golang
• Experience with microcontrollers, embedded processors, and SoC platforms
• Experience with router platforms, networking appliances, and embedded networking devices
• Familiarity with platforms such as Raspberry Pi, RouterBOARD, OpenWrt, Yocto, Buildroot, and similar embedded environments
• Experience integrating LTE, 4G, 5G, cellular modems, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, and Ethernet technologies
• Experience with modem certification, carrier approvals, and cellular deployment requirements
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, and network troubleshooting
• Experience developing and debugging device drivers and low level firmware
• Familiarity with bootloaders, kernel configuration, kernel modules, and Linux system internals
• Experience using Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated build systems

• Final Onsite Team & Communication Interview (3rd Interview Round with Client) - A final discussion focused on communication, ownership, collaboration, work ethic, project coordination, and overall alignment with the team and work environment.

Candidates should expect a technically rigorous interview process with an emphasis on practical experience and real-world problem-solving.

Pay: Rs250,000.00 - Rs1,000,000.00 per month

Experience:

• Voice over IP (VoIP): 4 years (Preferred)
