What You will Do:

We are looking for a High-Level Aerospace/Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing designs for mechanical aerospace components according to provided requirements and feedback.

  • Design and develop mechanical components, systems, and assemblies
  • Produce detailed drawings and specifications using CAD software
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as manufacturing, quality control, and suppliers
  • Perform basic stress and thermal analysis on designs
  • Participate in the testing and evaluation of prototypes
  • Ensure designs are in compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Create presentations and present for internal and external reviews
  • Mentor and help train entry-level engineers
  • Keep up-to-date with latest industry developments and emerging design technologies.

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
  • 6-15 years experience in mechanical design, with a strong preference for the aerospace field
  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and mechanical design
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Catia, or NX
  • Ability to interpret and present design results effectively
  • Ability to tie design features to requirements
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Aerospace industry knowledge preferred

Pay Range:$85,000 to $120,000

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.

Work Requirements: This position is classified as Remote within the United States.

Travel requirements: Due to the nature of the work, 0% of travel is required.

Citizenship requirement: Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.
