Senior Engineer-Avari Xpress Gulberg

Avari Xpress Gulberg is looking to Hire Senior Engineer.

Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

• Assist the Chief Engineer in budget control, material usage, and energy management.
• Check wastage and ensure optimum use of materials.
• Observe and report energy wastage and ensure safety compliance.
• Replace the Chief Engineer during absence when requested.
• Prepare weekly work schedules and conduct routine inspections of all engineering areas.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs.
• Manage operation, repair, and modification of all mechanical works and installations.
• Maintain stock levels and verify engineering logbooks.
• Monitor implementation of energy conservation procedures and report irregularities.
• Prepare monthly utility consumption reports and ensure proper calibration of instruments.
• Ensure timely completion of maintenance requests, especially guest-related jobs.
• Prepare purchase requests and LPOs for engineering equipment.
• Provide courteous, professional service and maintain good relationships with colleagues and other departments.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies on fire, hygiene, health, and safety.
• Maintain high standards of appearance, hygiene, and punctuality.
• Attend training sessions and perform other duties assigned by management.

Education & Requirements:

• Graduate degree holder (preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a similar position
• Preferred industries: Hospitality, Construction, FMCG, Manufacturing
• Skills: Problem-solving, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
• Good electrical and mechanical knowledge
• Computer literate, well-groomed, and presentable
• Team leadership and time management abilities
• Language: Proficient in Urdu and able to understand English
• Working Conditions: Occasionally outdoors; exposure to wet/humid conditions, toxic materials, fumes, and risk of electric shock
