Develop procedures for programming and budgeting for operation, maintenance, and Mechanical repair work.
Ensure the effective use of diagnostic techniques for determining the need for mechanical maintenance and repair.
Participate actively in the implementation of annual budget ,evaluation and recommend specific adjustments during implementation according to projects needs and activities
Ensure smooth and efficient handing over of buildings & facilities constructed under supervision of Projects Execution Section by close coordination and active collaboration during execution.
Ensure the proper decisions had been made in a building's design to use long-lasting materials and equipment, to reduce maintenance and repair requirements.
Establish a direct link between the maintenance and operations plan and the entity's mission, goals and objectives, as they relate to maintenance.
Ensure to extend the life and improve the capability of buildings system and equipment to perform at their maximum potential.
Improve work methods and procedures to increase the productivity of the maintenance personnel and reduce overtime of maintenance personnel.
Select the most cost-effective method of maintenance, i.e., outsourced contracts
Maintain sufficient management information systems to allow analysis and audit of maintenance functions
Performs other responsibilities related to the position as appropriate.
Supervise and control the preventive and corrective maintenance programs of all RTA facilities and equipment’s (under BFD supervision).
Allocate, supervise and control Mechanical and engineering outsourcing contractors to provide a standard level of facility in terms of operations.
Ensure the right selections of all building materials since this decision will directly impact the cost of future maintenance by close coordination with Planning & Design Section during design phase.
Ensure proper integration and coordination with maintenance plans and works followed and carried out for other disciplines.
Implement plan to improve the methods of determining professional staffing required for field-level facilities management.
Provide related progress status and issues and prepare reports to concerned supervisor/manager.
Select system and operation specifically for building occupancy and perform regular audits to monitor performance and consumption.
Ensure the proper construction or installation to improve satisfactory performance from the outset and reduce maintenance and repair requirements.
Provide optimum operating efficiency for the systems and equipment and Perform cost-benefit analysis of systems and retrofit proposals.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor degree in mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
Computer-literate performer with extensive software proficiency covering wide variety of applications
