Job Description

CEG International is seeking a highly experienced Senior Fire Protection & Fire Fighting Systems Engineer to join our consultancy team in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for fire protection system design review, supervision, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards across building projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and approve fire protection and fire fighting system designs, drawings, and specifications
• Supervise installation and commissioning of fire protection systems on site
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements
• Ensure compliance with local authority requirements, codes, and standards
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and stakeholders
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities
• Prepare technical reports and provide expert guidance

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Fire Safety / Electrical / Architecture)
• MMUP Grade: A (Mandatory)
• Experience: Minimum 15 years of relevant experience
• Strong background in design, operation, and maintenance of fire protection systems
• Proven experience in fire system design review and construction supervision
• Consultancy experience is preferred
• Strong coordination, reporting, and communication skills.
