Skills - Imperva dam migration from Hardware to VM's
Network and Firewall experience will be an added advantage
- 10 Years of Experience in Software Development Life Cycle or Service Management (e.g. Incident, Problem, Change, Configuration, Availability, IT Continuant Management)
- Lead the migration of Imperva DAM from hardware appliances to virtual machines (VMs).
- Ability to work independently and manage project timelines.
- Design and implement virtualized DAM architecture in alignment with security and performance requirements.
- Familiarity with database platforms (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.) and their integration with DAM.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, database, and security teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and optimization of virtual DAM instances.
- Register and manage database agents across gateway clusters, ensuring proper communication and policy enforcement.
- Perform gateway clustering and load balancing to optimize performance and availability.
- Conduct health checks, diagnostics, and performance tuning of virtual DAM components.
- Develop and maintain documentation for architecture, deployment, and operational procedures.
- Conduct testing, validation, and troubleshooting during and after the migration.
- Ensure compliance with internal security policies and external regulatory requirements.
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to internal team’s post-deployment.
- Installation and configuration of SOM, MX management server (MX160), gateway appliances (V6500 etc)
- Imperva DAM migration experience from hardware to virtual machines.
- Installation and configuration of SOM.
- Imperva DAM agent registration in gateway clusters.
- Ability to identify requirements and create a solution architecture that meets identified requirements
