Education: Masters/Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Job Description
-
Daily / weekly resource planning (Manpower, spare parts, maintenance services), monitoring & reporting.

Daily review of Mechanical maintenance effectiveness & efficiency.

Lead shut down , Preventive & Predictive Mechanical maintenance planning.

Participate & Promote " GAMBA" walk.
-
Participate in Task force / Problem solving / Execution of work packages.
-
Monitor MTBF/ MTTR of all critical equipments & define improvement actions.

Identify & eliminate recurring Mechanical maintenance issues.

Shared responsibility for OEE & OTIF with production & technology head.

Ensure all Mechanical maintenance activities are well documented through maintenance management system (PM module), and equipment manual (History) / hand books are up to date.

Ensure proper hand over of the equipment / machines after maintenance is over including cleaning / insulation / claddings etc.

Drive improvement work package to enhance Safety, efficiency, reliability and consistency of plant Mechanical equipment .

Stimulate & support process simplification & initiatives to enhance predictive maintenance.

Ensure adherence to management of change process.

Deploy along with team world class asset management practices.

Keep abreast with latest maintenance practices along with innovations & modernizations.
Preferred Experience
-
Professional having Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed university with proven academic records.

8 to 12 years of working experience in leading Mechanical maintenance team in a manmade fiber manufacturing / similar operations.

Managing Acrylic Fiber Manufacturing process.

Exposures in high temperature equipment & heavy rotary equipment's.

Exposures in handling a large group of manpower in a cross cultural ambience.

Experience of leading an Mechanical maintenance team with continuous processes and 24/7 shift rotation
