At Burns & McDonnell India (BMI OGC), you'll be joining the ranks of our Piping Design & Engineering team. You'll report to department & functional managers, The engineering design of projects spanning across sectors such as Oil, Gas, Chemicals, Petrochemicals, Renewable Fuels, Decarbonization, and Carbon Capture. And these projects aren't limited to a local scale; they are positioned globally, reflecting our worldwide impact.

You'll be a part of our vibrant Oil, Gas, and Chemicals (OGC) Global Practice, a thriving collective of around 500 professionals. This dynamic group lives and breathes engineering, procurement, and construction projects across various industries - Refining, Midstream & Logistics, Petrochemical, and Chemicals.

General duties and responsibilities would include:

• Lead and guide team for execution of below Project deliverables
• Piping Material Specification
• Valve description
• Specialty item datasheets
• Technical Specifications
• Technical reviews
• Vendor Document Review
• Bill of Material Management
• Line List and Valve List Management
• Collaborate with BMUS counterparts for Job execution
• Drive initiatives for automation, productivity improvement, and knowledge management within the discipline
• Mentor and train mid-level and Junior-level engineers, enabling competency development within the team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical or Chemical engineering
• 9-11 years of work exp. with exposure to Basic and detailed design engineering
• Proficiency in international codes & standards like ASME, ASTM, API, PIP, MSS, Shell DEP, NACE etc and it's application
• Experience in leading multiple projects of Mid/Large size & complexity
• Knowledge of SmartPlant reference database would be an added advantage
