Senior Engineer - Roads/Highways

We are seeking a talented and experienced Roads/Highways Design Engineer with strong expertise in Autodesk Civil 3D to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing road and highway infrastructure projects, utilizing advanced 2D and 3D modeling techniques. You will collaborate closely with design teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions from concept through to detailed design stages.

• Expert in Civil 3D software to manage detailed 2D and 3D roadway models, including horizontal and vertical alignments, lanes, shoulders, and drainage systems
• Well-versed in Saudi and International Standards such as Saudi Highway Code/AASHTO/ MOT/MOMRA etc.
• Must have Expressway, highways, interchanges, and internal roads design experience. Rail Alignment Design to be considered as an added qualification.
• Good knowledge and experience of BIM modelling
• Perform accurate calculations of earthwork and all road components
• Familiar with Road Pavement Design requirements, including geotechnical and traffic
• Supervise and manage multiple drafting and modeling activities, ensuring timely and quality outputs.
• Prepare and review design documentation, drawings, and technical reports.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary project teams and participate in client and stakeholder meetings as required.
• Can write Design Reports and create presentations

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• 7 to 12 years of demonstrable experience in roads/highways design, preferably in consulting or engineering environments.
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D/Navisworks/Infraworks/AutoTurn software for road and highway design, including modeling, alignment, grading, and drainage etc
• Previous experience working in multinational or international project environments is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
