We are supporting an Engineering Manager to lead end-to-end engineering operations at a well-established manufacturing facility. This leadership role is critical to driving operational excellence, ensuring engineering reliability, and implementing process improvements aligned with business goals. The position calls for a hands-on engineering leader with deep experience in machinery manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and mentor the plant engineering team to ensure smooth daily operations and adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of all production machinery and utilities.
- Drive preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to maximize equipment uptime.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and project teams to optimize process efficiency and product performance.
- Lead new capital projects, upgrades, and automation initiatives.
- Monitor and control engineering budgets, resources, and timelines.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and environmental regulations related to plant engineering.
- Evaluate and implement technology upgrades to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
- Partner with top management to align engineering performance with overall business objectives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related discipline).
- 10–15 years of engineering and maintenance experience in precision or heavy machinery manufacturing.
- Proven experience leading plant engineering operations with measurable performance improvements.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical controls, utilities, and automation.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment.

- The position requires full-time presence at the plant (6 days/week).
