1. Facility Maintenance & Operations
- Oversee the upkeep of all infrastructure: buildings, gardens, kitchens, medical rooms, recreational areas, etc.
- Coordinate regular maintenance of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and sanitation systems.
- Supervise housekeeping and laundry operations to ensure hygiene standards are maintained.
- Manage security systems, fire safety, CCTV, and access control.
2. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all local and national safety regulations (fire safety, building codes, sanitation).
- Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and drills (fire, emergency evacuation).
- Ensure accessible infrastructure for elderly residents (ramps, lifts, grab bars, etc.).
3. Vendor & Staff Management
- Manage contracts and relationships with third-party vendors (maintenance, pest control, etc.).
- Supervise and schedule housekeeping, maintenance, and security staff.
- Monitor inventory and procurement of essential facility supplies and equipment.
4. Resident Support & Coordination
- Respond promptly to facility-related complaints or requests from residents or staff.
- Coordinate room readiness and cleanliness for new admissions or guests.
- Assist in organizing or supporting wellness, cultural, and recreational programs from a facilities standpoint.
5. Budgeting & Reporting
- Prepare and manage facilities budget including utilities, repairs, and consumables.
- Track maintenance logs and prepare reports for management on facility performance.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in healthcare, hospitality, or senior living.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, vendor management, and preventive maintenance.
- Working knowledge of government norms related to health, safety, and elderly care in India.
- Proficient in MS Office and facility management software/tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Facility Management (e.g., IFMA, FMP).
- Experience in a retirement community, nursing home, or healthcare facility.

Working Conditions:
