Senior Environmental Impact Director

Job Summary:
GeoBrasil Environmental Consultancy Qatar is seeking an experienced Senior Environmental Impact Director to lead environmental assessment and sustainability initiatives in Doha. This senior leadership role offers the opportunity to oversee high-profile environmental impact assessments (EIA), drive regulatory compliance, and shape sustainable development strategies across major projects. What you'll do:

• Lead environmental impact assessments (EIA) for large-scale infrastructure and development projects
• Oversee environmental studies, reporting, and regulatory submissions
• Ensure compliance with local environmental laws, international standards, and sustainability frameworks
• Advise clients on environmental risk, mitigation strategies, and sustainability planning
• Manage multidisciplinary environmental teams and external consultants
• Collaborate with government entities, stakeholders, and project developers
• Review technical reports, environmental data, and impact analyses
• Drive environmental strategy, policy alignment, and best practices
• Monitor project performance, timelines, and quality standards
• Support business development and client relationship management

Requirements:

• Experience in environmental consulting, impact assessment, or sustainability leadership
• Strong understanding of EIA processes, environmental regulations, and compliance standards
• Ability to manage complex projects and multiple stakeholders
• Leadership and team management experience
• Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills
• Familiarity with environmental modeling, assessment tools, and reporting systems
• Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability, or related field
