Your role with us

The senior epic analyst at Salem Health plays a critical role in advancing data-driven insights and optimizing clinical and population health operations through expertise in Epic system analysis, design, implementation, and support. This position works closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, develop solutions, and provide guidance on Epic system use and functionality, with a focus on driving innovation and excellence in data management and analytics. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a deep understanding of Epic systems and their application in clinical and population health contexts.

What you'll do

  • Analyzes, designs, implements, and supports Epic healthy planet applications, ensuring seamless integration with clinical and population health operations.
  • Provides expert guidance and support to stakeholders on Epic system use and functionality, driving adoption and optimization of best practices.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop solutions that meet organizational needs, leveraging Epic system capabilities to drive data-driven insights and innovation.
  • Develops and maintains technical documentation, knowledge articles, and strategic plans to guide technical strategy and ensure consistency with organizational goals.
  • Troubleshoots complex issues and resolves problems, working independently with guidance only in the most complex situations.
  • Leads projects and teams, prioritizing work and ensuring that standards for build, documentation, and change processes are followed to maintain system integrity and stability.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree; or eight years of relevant work experience (no degree required, where relevant experience can substitute for formal education).
  • Epic certification in one of the following modules: Ambulatory/Healthy Planet.
  • Minimum of three years of Epic related experience.
