Job Description

Job Summary:

Index is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manufacturing ERP Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Epicor or similar ERP systems SAP | Oracle | Infor | IFS and a strong background in manufacturing processes. This role involves analyzing, designing, implementing, and supporting ERP solutions to optimize manufacturing operations. This is a hybrid position, with the opportunity to work from home some days and collaborate on-site as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

ERP Implementation and Management:

Lead the implementation and customization of Epicor or similar ERP systems to meet business requirements.

Manage and oversee ERP projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design ERP solutions that enhance manufacturing efficiency.

System Analysis and Optimization:

Analyze existing manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement through ERP solutions.

Develop and implement strategies to optimize ERP system performance and ensure seamless integration with other business systems.

Training and Support:

Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective utilization of the ERP system.

Develop user manuals, training materials, and documentation for ERP processes and procedures.

Offer ongoing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve ERP-related issues.

Continuous Improvement:

Stay updated with the latest ERP technology trends and advancements.

Make recommendations for future upgrades or changes to the ERP system based on business needs and technology trends.

Collaborate with software developers and IT professionals to implement system enhancements and updates.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in ERP consulting, with a focus on manufacturing environments.
Proven experience with Epicor or similar ERP systems.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and workflows.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
