Senior Estimation Engineer

The Estimation & Billing Engineer is responsible for preparing project cost estimates, quantity take-offs, BOQs, client billing, contractor billing, and ensuring accurate cost control throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities1. Estimation & Costing

• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from drawings.
• Develop BOQ (Bill of Quantities) as per project specifications.
• Prepare cost estimates for civil construction works.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
• Prepare rate analysis for materials, labour, and machinery.
• Coordinate with procurement for material costing.

2. Billing Management

• Prepare RA Bills (Running Account Bills) for clients.
• Verify contractor/vendor bills as per executed quantities.
• Maintain measurement sheets and billing records.
• Ensure billing is aligned with work progress.
• Track payment certifications and billing status.

3. Quantity Surveying

• Site measurement verification.
• Reconciliation of material consumption.
• Quantity variation tracking and reporting.
• Assist in change order and variation claims.

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain billing registers and cost reports.
• Prepare weekly/monthly billing reports.
• Maintain project cost tracking sheets.
• Coordinate with site engineers for work progress updates.

5. Coordination

• Coordinate with site team, planning team, and accounts department.
• Support project team during audits and billing approvals.
• Liaise with consultants and clients for bill certification.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation & rate analysis.
• Understanding of civil drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of billing procedures and contract terms.
• Good analytical and numerical skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel & AutoCAD.

Software Knowledge

• MS Excel (Advanced preferred)
• AutoCAD
• ERP / Billing Software (preferred)
• MS Office

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
