- Interpret complex architectural and engineering drawings, project specifications, and compliance standards related to fire safety and performance glazing.
- Engage directly with contractors, architects, and consultants, responding to technical queries and providing support throughout project lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with sales, engineering, and procurement to optimise solutions, costs, and delivery timelines.
- Track project changes, evaluate potential impacts on cost and programme, and revise estimates accordingly.
- Proactively identify and pursue new commercial opportunities in targeted construction and architectural sectors.
- Comprehensive understanding of fire door and specialist glazing products, including steel and aluminium systems.
- Strong familiarity with fire safety standards: BS, EN, and relevant building regulations for fire doors and fire-resistant glazing.
- Ability to review, interpret, and clarify technical submittals, certification requirements, and specification documentation.
- Experience working with construction drawings, bills of quantities, and digital measurement tools.
- High proficiency in estimation and project management software.
- Demonstrate persuasive selling skills in meetings, presentations, and negotiations to secure profitable projects.
- Communicate clearly with diverse audiences, tailoring technical information for both expert and non-expert stakeholders.
