Qualifications & Skills

  • 3–7 years of experience in estimation, costing, or client handling in the interior contracting industry.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial interiors (offices, retail, hospitality, F&B, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, BOQ preparation, and tender documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple project inquiries simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with strong numerical and analytical skills.

Role Overview

The Senior Estimation/ Costing Executive will play a key role in client engagement, costing, contract closure, and project acquisition. The role requires strong communication skills, solid understanding of interior contracting, and the ability to justify costing and BOQ details to clients. The candidate must be proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced commercial interiors environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Engagement & Communication
  • Attend client meetings, understand project requirements, and present Greensquare’s turnkey solutions.
  • Communicate clearly and confidently, addressing client queries with technical and commercial reasoning.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, architects, and vendors.
  • Estimation & Costing
  • Prepare, review, and explain detailed BOQs for commercial interior projects.
  • Provide accurate costing breakdowns and justify rates, quantities, and specifications.
  • Stay updated on market rates for materials, labour, and subcontracted services.
  • Evaluate design drawings, material specifications, and site conditions to prepare competitive estimates.

Tendering & Bidding

  • Prepare tender documents, participate in bidding processes, and ensure timely submission.
  • Analyse tender requirements, compliance criteria, and pricing strategies.
  • Work with internal teams to prepare technical and commercial bids.
  • Contract Closure & Negotiation
  • Engage with clients to address objections, clarify costing concerns, and negotiate terms.
  • Ensure smooth progression from proposal to contract signing.
  • Coordinate with senior management to finalise agreements.
  • Technical & Industry Knowledge
  • Strong understanding of interior contracting processes including civil, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and finishing works.
  • Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
  • Familiarity with project timelines, resource planning, and site execution norms.
