Senior Estimator and Project Coordinator

Job Purpose

The Senior Estimator and Project Coordinator is the financial and planning anchor for our technical execution teams. This high-level role is responsible for translating complex architectural concepts and raw site data into highly accurate, competitive estimations and structured project schedules. By driving BOQ excellence and ensuring seamless hand-offs between the Estimation, Sales, and Operations modules, you directly enable the profitable and timely delivery of our major construction, fit-out, and renovation projects.

Core Technical & Operational Responsibilities

• Site Surveying & Assessment: Execute meticulous on-site inspections and field measurements to assess structural realities for upcoming renovation, demolition, and turnkey fit-out works.
• BOQ & Estimation Excellence: Prepare exhaustive Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and cost estimates using both local UAE market rates and global pricing indices.
• Tender Process Execution: Manage the end-to-end technical estimation process for high-value tender submissions, ensuring all material, labor, and overhead costs are accurately captured.
• Advanced Value Engineering: Proactively analyze project specifications to propose cost-saving alternatives in material selection and execution methods without compromising structural integrity, design intent, or regulatory compliance.
• Commercial Risk Assessment: Identify commercial and financial risks within complex tender documents, contract terms, and project scopes, formulating mitigation strategies prior to final bid submission.
• Variation & Change Order Management: Evaluate subcontract packages, track project scope changes, and accurately price variations to ensure financial margins are protected during active execution.
• Digital Take-offs: Utilize Planswift and AutoCAD to extract precise measurements from 2D/3D project drawings and translate them into actionable cost data.
• Project Coordination & Scheduling: Leverage Primavera P6 and advanced PMP tools to develop baseline project schedules, coordinating directly with the Sales team, Site Engineers, and Project Managers to align estimates with field execution.
• CRM Workflow Management: Navigate the internal CRM framework, mastering the transition of data from the Sales (Inquiry Module) to Estimation, and finally handing it over to Operations (Project Module) and Accounts.

Technical Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 7–10 years of intensive field and office experience in high-level estimation, value engineering, and quantity surveying for the UAE Construction and Fit-Out sectors.
• Software Proficiency: Expert-level command of AutoCAD, Planswift (for digital take-offs), and Primavera P6. Advanced knowledge of ZOHO CRM (or equivalent ERP/CRM systems) is mandatory.
• Technical Knowledge: Exceptional mastery of measurement standards, BOQ preparation, value engineering, and project management principles (PMP). Deep technical understanding of civil works, MEP integration, and bespoke joinery/carpentry.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management. PMP Certification is highly preferred.

Reporting Line

This role reports directly to the Project Manager or Operations Head.

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
