Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Estimator to join our construction team in the UAE. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, tender submissions, and BOQs for large-scale civil construction projects. The role requires strong technical expertise, analytical ability, and extensive experience in UAE/GCC tendering environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for civil construction projects
• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs thoroughly
• Perform quantity take-offs from architectural, structural, and civil drawings
• Prepare competitive tender submissions within strict deadlines
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, procurement, and planning teams
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers
• Develop cost breakdowns, pricing strategies, and tender clarifications
• Identify risks, cost variations, and value engineering opportunities
• Maintain cost databases and historical project estimation data
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits when required
• Support negotiation with clients and consultants during tender stages
• Ensure compliance with UAE construction standards and contract requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• 14–16 years of experience in civil estimation (UAE/GCC experience preferred)
• Strong expertise in tendering, estimation, and BOQ preparation
• Excellent knowledge of construction methods, materials, and market rates
• Proficiency in estimation tools (Excel, Candy, CCS, or similar software)
• Strong analytical, numerical, and decision-making skills
• Good understanding of UAE construction industry practices
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strong communication and coordination skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience in large-scale building and infrastructure projects
• Familiarity with FIDIC contract conditions
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Immediate joiners preferred
