Position: Senior Estimator – General Contracting (GC & MEP)

Experience Required: 2.5 – 3 Years

Job Type: Full-Time (Office-Based)

Location: Johar Town, Lahore

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Estimator with a strong command on General Contracting (GC) projects and working knowledge of MEP trades. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and supporting bids for commercial and residential construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates for GC projects

Perform quantity take-offs from architectural, structural, and MEP drawings

Review drawings, specifications, RFQs, and addenda

Develop trade-wise and division-wise (CSI) estimates

Coordinate, review, and level subcontractor and supplier quotes

Identify scope gaps, exclusions, and risks

Assist in MEP estimating (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical) as part of GC scope

Prepare bid summaries, clarifications, and scope sheets

Support management in bid submissions and revisions

Maintain cost databases and estimation templates

Required Skills & Qualifications

2.5–3 years of experience as a GC Estimator

Strong understanding of commercial & residential GC projects

Good command on MEP systems within GC estimates

Proficient in quantity take-offs

Solid understanding of CSI divisions

Ability to read and interpret:

Architectural drawings

Structural drawings

MEP drawings

Experience with:

Plan Swift / Bluebeam / On-Screen Takeoff (or similar)

MS Excel (strong skills required)

Familiarity with US construction standards preferred

Strong analytical, communication, and time-management skills

Ability to work under tight deadlines

Preferred (Plus) Skills

Experience working on US-based projects

Knowledge of permit drawings & specifications

Ability to prepare proposal narratives and scope clarifications
