Senior Estimator - Interiors & Fit Out

We are urgently hiring a Senior Estimator who is responsible for preparing accurate, competitive, and timely cost estimates for interior fit-out and refurbishment projects. This role requires deep knowledge of joinery, civil works, MEP coordination, materials, market pricing, and subcontracting. The Senior Estimator ensures that cost proposals align with project specifications, client expectations, and company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:1. Estimation & Tendering

• Review and analyze project drawings, specifications, BOQs, and tender documents.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for interior fit-out, joinery, civil, and MEP-related works.
• Conduct quantity take-offs and develop project-specific BOQs.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals in line with client requirements.
• Identify cost risks, value engineering opportunities, and alternative solutions.
• Ensure estimates are submitted within tender deadlines.

2. Vendor & Subcontractor Management

• Float inquiries and obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Analyze supplier/subcontractor pricing, negotiate costs, and ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Maintain an updated database of material prices, labor rates, and subcontractor lists.

3. Coordination & Technical Support

• Coordinate with design, engineering, procurement, and project teams for clarifications.
• Attend pre-tender meetings, site visits, client briefings, and kick-off meetings.
• Provide support in drafting tender queries and clarifications.

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare tender summaries, comparison sheets, and costing breakdowns.
• Assist management in decision-making through accurate and comprehensive cost reports.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, cost-control processes, and documentation requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in estimation within the interior fit-out / joinery industry in the UAE or GCC.
• Strong understanding of materials used in interiors, joinery, gypsum works, partitions, ceilings, flooring, MEP basics, etc.
• Excellent skills in quantity take-offs, cost analysis, and estimation software (AutoCAD, Planswift, Excel).
• Knowledge of local market pricing, suppliers, and subcontractors.
