Senior Finance Executive – Lease Administration (Retail Operations Finance)
The Financial Analyst plays a key role on the Lease Administration Finance team by ensuring Landlord charges are billed accurately and paid in a timely manner. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical thinking capabilities and excellent communication skills. The candidate is also enthusiastic, self-motivated and demonstrates the ability to drive results.
Key Responsibilities:
Gain an overall understanding of the Real Estate payment process
Develop and maintain effective relationships with landlords
Address landlord inquiries in a timely manner
Interpret lease language and audit landlord invoices to ensure lease compliance
Process invoices for payment and perform invoice audits, ensuring the proper level of approvals are obtained.
Adjust monthly escrow payments as appropriate
Reconcile landlord statements with our records and resolve differences
Review weekly and monthly payment runs for completeness/accuracy and ensure compliance with delegations of authority
Collect required documentation to process vendor changes in partnership with the Vendor's team
Perform ad-hoc financial analysis
Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial records and resolve discrepancies promptly
Must possess the ability to:
Develop a clear understanding of business processes and issues
Establish productive working relationships with landlords and internal partners
Clearly communicate points of view in a concise manner
Reconcile data and analyze variances
Demonstrate absolute adherence to data integrity and internal controls
Navigate financial systems

Qualifications & Skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
Great interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
Operational expertise in several Real Estate Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, including SAP
Tenacious attention to detail and the ability to see "the big picture"
Intermediate skills in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
Enthusiastic, high energy, and self-motivated
Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Finance or Accounting
5–8 years’ experience in a finance/accounting (Real Estate) environment
