Role Summary:

The Senior Executive Operations at Messe Muenchen India plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of our trade fairs and events. This position demands a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills, capable of supporting operational processes and enhancing overall efficiency. The Senior Executive will work collaboratively with various teams to facilitate logistics, manage vendor relationships, and ensure high standards of service are met throughout the event lifecycle.

Roles and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Assist in the planning and execution of operational activities for trade fairs and events, ensuring timelines and budgets are adhered to
  • Coordinate logistical arrangements including venue setup, equipment rentals, and transportation services
  • Support the operations team in maintaining communication with vendors and stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration
  • Monitor and record operational expenses, helping to ensure financial targets are met
  • Help develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for event management
  • Participate in site inspections and event walkthroughs to ensure operational readiness
  • Collect data and assist in post-event evaluations to assess operational efficiency and gather insights for future events
  • Provide administrative support to the operations team, including scheduling meetings and preparing reports
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to contribute ideas for operational improvements
  • Foster a positive team environment, supporting colleagues and contributing to a collaborative culture

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in operations management, preferably within the events or trade fairs industry
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with event management software is a plus
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Flexibility to work extended hours during events and travel as needed
