Role & responsibilities
Pricing:
- Receive and analyse customer inquiries and RFQs for Air, Ocean, and Road freight.
- Obtain rates from shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and overseas agents.
- Prepare accurate and competitive quotes within the defined turnaround time.
- Maintain and update rate sheets, tariffs, and pricing records.
- Support the sales team with rate negotiations and spot quotations.
- Track market trends and competitor pricing to ensure competitiveness.
Customer Service:
- Act as a single point of contact for customers on booking, shipment status, and documentation.
- Coordinate with operations, warehouse, and transport teams for smooth cargo movement.
- Provide timely shipment updates and proactively resolve customer issues or delays.
- Handle pre-alerts, delivery orders, PODs, and billing coordination.
- Maintain high levels of communication and service quality to enhance customer experience.
- Support in customer onboarding, maintaining SOPs, and ensuring service KPIs are met.
Preferred candidate profile
- Graduate in Logistics, Commerce, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in pricing and/or customer service in freight forwarding
- Strong knowledge of freight forwarding and logistics operations (Air / Ocean / Road).
- Proficiency in rate negotiation and quotation preparation.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Customer-focused attitude with problem-solving ability.
- Good command of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to multitask and manage deadlines efficiently.
- Knowledge of INCO terms, carrier contracts, and freight documentation preferred.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
