Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage procurement strategies for construction materials, services, and equipment.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors to ensure best pricing, quality, and timely supply.
- Prepare and issue RFQs, purchase orders, and contract agreements.
- Maintain approved vendor lists and conduct periodic vendor performance evaluations.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Accounts, and Management to understand procurement needs and timelines.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment to avoid work delays.
- Track market trends, pricing fluctuations, and availability of materials locally and internationally.
- Ensure all procurement processes comply with company policies and audit requirements.
- Resolve supplier issues related to delivery delays, quality concerns, or payment disputes.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of purchases, contracts, and vendor communication.
- Support cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or project timelines.
- Prepare procurement reports for management review.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
- 3–6 years of procurement experience, preferably in real estate or construction.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor-management skills.
- Knowledge of construction materials, finishes, MEP items, and procurement procedures.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong analytical and cost-comparison skills.
