JOB PURPOSE

  • This profile is for a skilled professional with an analytical mindset, responsible for building and managing a strong social media presence. The role includes crafting content strategy and plan, overseeing platform management, and executing day-to-day operations across all social media channels.


PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Social Media Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement social media strategies for individual platforms

Content Creation & Publishing

  • Plan, create, curate English content and ensure publishing of daily posts across all official SM Platforms of BLR Airport – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Threads+ YouTube
  • Skilled at identifying compelling digital stories and formats, have a strong creative instinct and a knack idea generation and concept driven content
  • Maintaining a quarterly social media calendar for all platforms

Performance Measurement & Optimization

  • Define success metrics, track, measure and analyse performance of organic (non – paid) content

Budget Management & ROI Alignment

  • Manage social media budget and spends for the financial year, aligned to the goals and KPIs

Stakeholder & Agency Collaboration

  • Liaise with creative agencies for creating posts
  • Liaise with internal verticals for business/ promotional priorities

Influencer & Advocacy Initiatives

  • Collaborate to drive influencer and potential brand advocate content on social
  • Drive Passenger Testimonials and Employee’s as ambassadors

Research & Market Intelligence

  • Conduct research, competitor analysis, track market trends
  • Monthly & Quarterly reviews, insights and reports
  • Social media audit including profiling followers and Share of Voice
  • Be aware of the latest social media features, algorithms, best practices and trends to increase engagement and followers across platforms
  • Increase SM referral traffic to the website

Campaign Strategy & ROI Optimization

  • Demonstrated understanding of paid promotions, SEO, and SEM strategies for brand building in the digital landscape, with the ability to effectively collaborate with digital marketing teams to define campaign promotion strategies and demography, drive impactful social media campaigns /posts and ROI


JOB SPECIFICATION

Education qualification and pre-requisites

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing and certified digital marketer from a renowned institute.
  • 6 to 8 years of social media experience in platforms, content writing, content publishing, analysis and providing business insights
  • Experience in promoting consumer brands, service, and premium portfolio
  • Experience in collaborating with internal stakeholders and external agencies/ partners
  • Adept with a variety of digital tools – scheduling posts, managing multiple accounts from a single dashboard
  • Experience with analytical tools and algorithm fluency – Understanding how algorithm on different platforms function, track performance Google Analytics & Insights, Native platform analytics – Meta/ LinkedIn/ Twitter/ YouTube, social media Listening tools and Sentiment Analysis
  • Content Optimization – Knowledge in SEO (Search Engine Optimization) for keywords, hashtags, to influence search visibility)
  • Content Creation & Design Software –Example Canva, Unfold, In video
  • General Office & productivity – Microsoft, Excel, Google sheet, PowerPoint, Management software and tracker– example Trello
