Senior Expediter

Job Description

We are currently looking for a Senior Expediter to reinforcing our Danieli Procurement & Logistics Team in Turkey.

Procurement and logistics department is involved within the whole process of project management at Danieli: from pre-projects to execution and supplier quality management, in order to secure company's profitability and leading market position. As Senior Expediter you will inspect and check documentation, material and product quality ensuring the delivery in time and in quality in accordance with the terms of purchase order.

Job Location: Düzce (Turkey)

Responsibilities

• Overview the progress of specific orders (both in terms of quality and time limits);
• Monitor of the Supplier's General Manufacturing Program.
• Contact with suppliers to check the progress of orders (both in terms of quality and time limits);
• Macro-Planning of the visits at the Suppliers' and subsequent refinement after the order launch
• Check of manufacturing programs and support for resolution of anomalies;
• Collect and analyze all information regarding the Supplier and affecting time and quality of supply;
• Verify that the supplier's quality is matching with the quality requirements requested by the technical specifications and contract;
• Overview process execution in coordination with quality assurance and/or external advisors;
• Collaborate with the Technical Office, for modifications of the existing processes while the work is in progress;
• Check of the purchase job orders' progress program;
• Check of product quality by direct inspections;
• Manage contingencies in the Supplier's manufacturing process.

Technical Requirements

• Technical school diploma or master's degree in Engineering;
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role;
• NDT licenses (superficial and volumetric);
• Experience in follow up and/or assembly of complete and complex equipment (mechanical aprt and on-board plants);
• Written and verbal English proficiency
