Senior Expert Mechanical Design Engineer

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for Senior Expert Mechanical Design Engineers with the following qualifications to join our team within our company, a subsidiary of TUSAŞ, which operates in the domestic design and production of environmental control systems (ECS) used in air platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably within the aerospace industry
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes
• Proficiency in CATIA
• Familiarity with aerospace-grade materials and manufacturing techniques
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components for Environmental Control Systems (ECS), such as heat exchangers, valves, and other related parts
• Collaborate with FEA and CFD teams to validate designs, requiring foundational knowledge of structural analysis, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics
• Select suitable materials and manufacturing processes to meet design requirements and optimize performance
• Create detailed 3D models and engineering drawings using CATIA
• Work closely with thermal, fluid, and systems engineers to ensure proper integration into the overall ECS
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical support throughout the product development lifecycle
• Develop and execute test plans to verify component performance and reliability
• Ensure compliance with applicable aerospace standards and regulatory requirements
• Document design processes, analysis results, and test findings
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance design efficiency and product quality.
