Job Description


Masdar is seeking a Senior Reward Expert
to shape the future of our global total rewards and workforce management strategies. In this pivotal role, you will design and implement innovative, market-leading reward frameworks that drive organizational performance, support business priorities, and ensure compliance with global standards.

You will play a key role in enhancing employee engagement, optimizing workforce efficiency, and positioning Masdar as an employer of choice by delivering cutting-edge reward solutions and data-driven workforce insights that align with our mission and values.

The role is based in Abu Dhabi, Masdar HQ.

Key responsibilities (not limited to):

Reward Strategy & Market Competitiveness

  • Develop and implement competitive, equitable, and cost-effective reward structures across all Masdar locations, ensuring talent attraction, retention, and internal equity.

  • Stay ahead of market trends through regular benchmarking and analysis, ensuring total rewards remain aligned with global best practices and business needs.

  • Lead the design, review, and execution of total reward projects, providing strategic recommendations to leadership.

Performance Rewards & Incentives

  • Manage the annual performance rewards cycle, including salary reviews, promotions, and bonuses, with data-driven proposals for cost allocation and ROI.

  • Present recommendations for executive and organizational incentive programs, ensuring alignment with business performance and shareholder interests.

  • Evaluate and enhance incentive schemes regularly to ensure competitiveness, fairness, and motivational impact.

Workforce Planning & Budgeting

  • Collaborate with business units to forecast workforce requirements, develop manpower budgets, and ensure alignment with financial and strategic goals.

  • Monitor manpower utilization, identify cost optimization opportunities, and recommend budget adjustments in response to changing business priorities.

Compensation for Recruitment & Contract Renewals

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to provide competitive compensation benchmarks for new hires and contract renewals.

  • Review and approve salary offers, ensuring compliance with pay structures, market benchmarks, and internal equity.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Deliver comprehensive, accurate, and timely reports to leadership and shareholders, using analytics to provide insights into pay equity, reward impact, and workforce cost trends.


Qualifications


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Master's degree from a top-tier institution of international repute or professional certification (e.g., CCP, CBP) preferred.

Preferred Experience:

  • 6-8 years of progressive experience in total rewards management, including compensation, benefits, and recognition programs, preferably in a global organization.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in compensation and reward management, with a focus on market-leading methodologies and practices.
  • Proven expertise in developing and implementing effective compensation strategies that drive organizational performance.
